Women’s Health & Fertility

A woman’s life is shaped by thresholds, by the quiet crossings that change not only the body, but the person living inside it. There is the first time blood arrives and the dawning knowledge that the body keeps its own time. There may be the longing for a child and all that longing asks us to carry, the vast rearrangement of pregnancy and birth, the long postpartum, and the slow crossing into perimenopause and menopause. Some passages are longed for, some chosen, and some arrive before we feel ready. Each asks the body to reorganize and invites us to meet ourselves anew.

Chinese medicine has always understood these transitions as more than hormonal events. They are whole-body passages, held in Blood and Essence, the nervous system and Heart, inheritance and identity. This work tends the crossing, offering nourishment for what is changing, steadiness for what feels uncertain, and room for the body to find its way into a new season without losing the wisdom of all that came before.

Nervous System & Emotional Wellbeing

Your nervous system is the ground beneath how you experience your life. It shapes whether the world feels welcoming or overwhelming, whether you can move through stress and find your way back, and whether your body feels safe enough to rest, digest, repair, and connect. When a body spends too long braced for threat, the effects ripple outward as tension, disrupted sleep, emotional reactivity, fatigue, and burnout.

Acupuncture restores flexibility to this system, helping the body shift out of persistent sympathetic activation and toward parasympathetic rest and repair. Over time, there is more room for clarity, resilience, and the quiet confidence that you can meet what comes.

Acupuncture treats humans, not just diagnoses — which means this list could genuinely go on for ages of pages. If what you’re carrying isn’t named here, that’s not a no. It’s an invitation to reach out and ask. Whether you’re here in Bend or working with me virtually, I’ll always tell you honestly whether this is a good fit — and if it isn’t, I’ll help you find what is.
